Hunter Joe Hawkins menaces archaeologist Karen Marsh.Everyone is after a golden Watusi idol that Bomba (Johnny Sheffield) has taken from the evil Ali Ben Mamoud (Paul Guilfoyle), who had stolen it. Among those after the treasure are a crooked ivory hunter, Joe Hawkins (Lane Bradford), who is brought into the matter by Mamoud but has plans of his own, and archaeologist Karen Marsh (Anne Kimbell), who is supposed to obtain the idol for a museum and is helped by series regulars Commissioner Barnes (Leonard Mudie) and his assistant, Eli (Smoki Whitfield). A fair amount of action offsets the abundant stock footage.
