American International’s beach movie series draws to a close with this fantasy entry minus Frankie, Annette, and some of the other regulars. Here, recently deceased Hiram Stokley (Boris Karloff), hoping to accomplish a good deed to get into Heaven with the assistance of his ghostly love, Cecilia (Susan Hart), tries to foil the nefarious plans of his scheming attorney, Reginald Ripper (Basil Rathbone), to defraud his rightful heirs (including Tommy Kirk and Deborah Walley). One of the relatives brings his crowd of beach partiers for fun around the pool instead, and that group includes some musical performers. Eric Von Zipper (Harvey Lembeck) and his motorcycle gang show up as well. Minor fun.

  Mildly recommended. Otto judiciously thinks this movie is OK, but not great.
