In a post-apocalyptic world, a loner (Michael Beck) rescues a young woman (Annie McEnroe) fleeing from an evil gang led by a ruthless warlord in an armed and armored semi-truck (hence the other title of the move, Battletruck). The gang eventually targets the peaceful village where the woman takes refuge and where the loner has friends, and it soon becomes clear that the warlord will do anything to recover the woman. Poor action sequences and plot weaknesses make for a rather unsatisfying viewing experience.
