Our cat Otto was a big fan of movies: When we would start to watch one, he would come running to the living room from wherever he might be and settle in for the duration, though he chiefly dozed rather than actively watching.

Otto thus has had a place in my comments on movies. The three ratings are as follows:

  Recommended. Otto would have found this one pleasing enough to relax.

  Mildly recommended. Otto would have found this movie OK, but not great.

  Not recommended. Otto would have urged you to avoid this movie.
