Settlers are gunned down by crooks pretending to be Indians, but the two sons survive, with the elder vanishing into the brush while laughing hysterically. Years pass, and the former renegades are now respected citizens, but they are meeting their doom at the hands of the title character, whose face can be glimpsed in the upper left corner of the lobby card above. The local sheriff (Edmund Cobb) vows to track down the Rawhide Terror and put an end to the slayings. A mess of a movie, with an abrupt shift in character focus as the movie goes on, leading to a surprising denouement, but not in an effective way. On IMDb it is stated that the movie was begun as a serial but completed as a feature, which may go some way to explaining the weaknesses of the story line.
Not recommended. Otto thinks you should avoid this movie.
