Personable Tom Tyler stars as a sheriff caught in the middle of a feud between sheepherders and cattlemen. When one of the former is gunned down, he pins the blame on Ned Hampton, the brother (Edmund Cobb) of the sheriff’s girl (Virginia Brown Faire), making Tom’s position even more difficult as he comes to arrest him. Ned’s escape, and his wounding of Tom during his break, leads to Tom taking shelter amid the sheepmen, while the cattlemen plan a massive drive to devastate the sheepherders’ land. Solid action and good performances make this low-budget western an entertaining one.

  Mildly recommended. Otto judiciously thinks this movie is OK, but not great.
