The Range Busters — John “Dusty” King, Max “Alibi” Terhune, and David Sharpe — are called in by Marshal Jim Hammond when his son Frank, a sheriff, is shot down during a bank robbery and the crooks get away. It seems crime has been on the increase, despite the existence of a vigilance committee: Could the crooks be using the vigilantes for cover? No particular mystery here, as the viewer knows from the beginning the identity of the ringleader of the outlaws, but there’s some interest in watching the boys go about bringing the gang to justice.
Mildly recommended. Otto judiciously thinks this movie is OK, but not great.
Movie 136 for 2021.
