While a researcher investigates reports of a tribe worshipping a tiger (trying learn whether this is true, and if so why, as tigers are not native to Africa), a government agent looks for a Nazi war criminal who holds the secret to some stolen art. Add in some crooks also after the art and a troupe of performers that just happens to include an act involve a live tiger, and Jungle Jim has plenty to deal with in this outing — perhaps a bit too much. The criminals and tiger worshippers are suitably menacing, and Jim does get to battle a big cat.
Mildly recommended. Otto judiciously thinks this movie is OK, but not great.
Movie 75 for 2021.
