Pia Zadora stars as Dee Dee, who just wants a chance to sing with a band, though her jerk of a boyfriend, who has a Stray Cats-like rockabilly group, doesn’t want her to do so. She gets her chance, however, when aliens arrive and decide to perform at the local high school cotillion — if escaped killers from the local asylum don’t put an end to the festivities first. Will Dee Dee get to sing? Will her boyfriend reform? Will the aliens go on tour throughout the universe, with Dee Dee as their lead singer? And what will happen to the killers and their prey? Terrible writing and terrible acting, with limited humor and only OK songs — including a duet between Pia Zadora and Jermaine Jackson that is sort of shoehorned in at the beginning — make this an interesting but not particularly pleasurable viewing experience.
